Fundraiser set up to generate cash for revamp of Lanarkshire play park

A fundraising appeal has been set up to revamp a play park near Strathaven.Volunteers from the Gilmourton Playpark group are working alongside South Lanarkshire Council and Sandford and Upper Avondale Community Council to upgrade facilities.

One of the volunteers has created a JustGiving page, with the aim of raising £1000 towards plans - and £180 has been raised so far.
