A local football team who suffered a devastating defeat of 26-0 this weekend are crying out for new players. Cavaliers FC in Gatley went into Saturday's clash against Avenue FC from Heywood without a goalkeeper and only one defender.
Manager, Ben Gage, 42, says the landslide defeat has led him to the realisation that he needs better players - and fast. Ben is urging anyone who thinks they might be up to the standard, which he says is at the highest end of amateur football, to come along to training.
