A Chinese restaurant in Hamilton is providing free meals to NHS staff and other frontline workers.Flamin Wok will make 100 portions for the key workers every Wednesday throughout April, starting April 8, from 5pm.Their kind gesture will continue until April 29 where they hope to reach staff working long hours and providing essential care during the fight against coronavirus (COVID-19).Restaurant owner Jason Zheng said: “We’re trying to do something to help people, and also send free meals to NHS staff and the vulnerable.“We also want to inspire other businesses to help us too and do more for the community.“It means a lot to me, we need to try and unite together and get through this pandemic.
