Fire crews rescue badgers trapped in 16ft deep Lanark sewage tank

A group of badgers have been rescued from a 16ft deep Lanarkshire sewage tank.Fire crews were called to the emergency after staff at Scottish Water sewage works in Lanark discovered three of the creatures trapped.The Scottish SPCA were alerted but further assistance was required to access the empty tank safely with ladders.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
