Evil Scot who shook tiny baby moans about ‘hardest months of his life’ in sick post

An evil ex-soldier who left a 10-week-old baby with a devastating brain injury moaned about the ‘hardest months of his entire life’ while out on bail for the vicious attack.

Declan Walton left the youngster, who cannot be named for legal reasons, critically ill and unable to breath on his own after shaking him at a property in Glenrothes, Fife, in June 2020.The 31-year-old was originally charged with attempted murder but pled guilty to a reduced charge of assault to severe injury, permanent impairment and to the danger of his life last week by shaking him or otherwise means.

He is facing a significant jail term when he returns for sentencing at the High Court of Inverness in January.But the Daily Record can now reveal that Walton moaned about his own ‘ordeal’ on social media while waiting for his day in the dock.

In a sick Facebook post, which has since been deleted, he wrote: “It’s been 4 months since seeing or hearing anything about (the baby).
