The Eurovision Song Contest returns for its 66th edition this May. It's almost time for another night of whacky costumes, eclectic music and all-round great entertainment as European countries - and some non-European countries including Israel and Australia - battle it out to become the Eurovision champion.
Last year's competition in the Netherlands saw Italian rock outfit Måneskin claim the crown with their hit Zitti e Buoni. They stormed the night with an impressive 524 points, giving Italy its first Eurovision win since 1990.
Runners-up France racked up 499 points. Of course, England came last with 'nul points' as James Newman's song Embers failed to impress either the international judging panel or the viewers. The singer began posting music covers to TikTok during the first lockdown in 2020 and became the most-followed UK artist on the app before the year was out.
