Darcy Grey's debut in Emmerdale is a career high for the young actor, but his road to landing the role on the hit ITV soap has not been straightforward.

The 30 year old actor has been cast as Marcus Dean, the son of Rhona Goskirk (played by Zoe Henry) and Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather).

The newcomer arrives in the Dales to learn more about his father, who was jailed for raping Rhona after their wedding in 2017 and has now been diagnosed with cancer while in prison.
