Elizabeth Day returns with a show for friends in need
msn.comMy Dad Wrote A Porno, say, or Athletico Mince. So the Guardian podcast team were very excited this week by Will Ferrell’s announcement that his podcast production company is creating The Big Sexy Interview Show With Michael Bolton.
It’s a spin-off from the Netflix show Michael Bolton’s Big, Sexy Valentine’s Day Special and will be produced by The Lonely Island’s Akiva Schaffer and Comedy Bang Bang’s Scott Aukerman.
A release date is still to be announced, but I can’t wait. In the meantime, this week we have a list of fantastic podcasts created by women (including Literary Friction, which earns a 3 out of 5 on our official Great Podcast Name Ranking Chart that we have definitely not just made up), and reviews of five of the week’s most interesting new listens.
