half price meals when they dine out every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during August in a bid to boost the hospitality sector.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak recently made the announcement and said the “Eat Out to Help Out” scheme would provide 50 per cent off, up to a maximum of £10 per head, meals at participating businesses across the UK - but it doesn’t include alcohol.
However, it does include McDonald’s. The fast food chain confirmed on Tuesday that some of its 700 UK restaurants will be participating in the nationwide meal deal.
