Congratulations to Doves, who land straight in at Number 1 with their comeback album The Universal Want on this week’s Official Albums Chart.

The Manchester rock band’s fifth studio album and first in 11 years outperformed its closest competitor by more than double to take the top spot.

Doves’ previous chart-topping albums are The Last Broadcast (2002) and Some Cities (2005). View Doves' Official UK Chart history in full here.
