Dog owners are being urged to be vigilant with how much they allow their dogs to play with sticks following one puppy’s near death.

Brodie, an eight-week-old Labrador, recently spent three days in intensive care after he played with a stick in his garden. Now the vet who saved the puppy’s life is calling on all dog owners to try and avoid letting their pooch play with sticks.
