It means Bruce Anderson, Craig Bryson, Sam Cosgrove, Michael Devlin, Jonny Hayes, Matty Kennedy, Dylan McGeouch and Scott McKenna will escape full suspension unless they break the rules again before February 28, 2021.
McInnes has passionately pleaded that his players have been punished enough in recent weeks as they were publicly shamed on social media - and hammered by the First Minister - for an ill-fated night out in the Granite City earlier in August.
