A dad said he will fight to keep a £300,000 'Monster Mansion' he built illegally after finding out it is set to be demolished.Delivery driver Gurwinder Singh, 43, was granted permission to build an extension to his four-bedroom semi-detached home.

However, he's now been told his renovations have made his house "look like a Travelodge" and go against the conditions of his planning permission. It's claimed the father-of-two didn't follow the restrictions and bulldozed the entire building.

He then started to work on building a new home, which outraged neighbours who branded it an "eyesore" and a "monstrosity", reports Birmingham Live.Neighbours objected and their fury prompted Walsall Council to slap Singh with an enforcement notice to demolish his half-built new home.

Singh said neighbours have been "unfair" and vowed that he would do "everything possible" to save his dream home in Willenhall, Walsall.Singh said he'd spent his life savings on the £300,000 building, which was hoped to be a forever home he'd share with wife, Rajwinder Kaur, and their two daughters.
