Cultural events could be staged behind closed doors from June, the government's coronavirus recovery road map suggests. The second stage of the strategy to reopen and rebuild the UK economy will allow sports and cultural events to take place and be broadcast as of next month, 'while avoiding the risk of large-scale social contact'.
Speaking in the House of Commons today after the road map was published, Boris Johnson said it would provide 'a much-needed boost to national morale'.
