In March, Wayne Devlin, from Davyhulme, sang for 24-hours non-stop at a local restaurant as part of a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society.
The charity effort came about as a way to recognise his idol Tony Bennett, the legendary swing singer who recently announced he had been diagnosed with Alzeheimer’s four years ago.
