But such a wild card in the energy of the Bebop,” Nemec told TheWrap. But at the end of the first season of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the beloved anime, newcomer Eden Perkins shows up to give Spike Spiegel (John Cho) a new mission.
Nemec says it was always the plan to hold Ed back until the very end of the season (and also points out that he’s only following the original anime’s lead on that). “Radical Ed doesn’t show up in the first episode of the anime.
