Cowardly criminals pretended to be from water board before raiding Scots pensioner's house

A trio of fraudsters pretending to be from the water board stole jewellery and a four figure sum of cash from an 81-year-old woman in West Lothian.The men told the pensioner they were there to check the pipes when she answered the door of her home in Seafield Rows, Seafield between 5pm and 5.10pm on Sunday.The woman let the men in but when they went into three different rooms she grew suspicious and confronted them and they left.She then discovered a quantity of jewellery and a four-figure sum of cash was missing.The first suspect is described as white aged 30-40 years, 5ft 10ins in height and of slim build.
