A town "with everything" ruined a couple's experience on BBC's Escape to the Country property hunt.Pauline and David, from High Wycombe, were desperate to move to West Wales in 2018.
The pair had set a budget of £325,000 and a non-negotiable garage and workshop for David and a contemporary interior for Pauline, combined with period character and charm.Pauline said: "We used to holiday a lot in Wales and we loved it there and we know most of Wales and we like Pembrokeshire especially."With their ambitions, they applied to BBC's Escape to the Country to help them find their rural retreat.
Presenter Alistair Appleton took them to see their first property in Wolfscastle - and the search ended before it even began. As Wales Online reports, the pair were instantly captivated by the whole house, from the beautiful interiors to the country views that cloaked the characterful cottage.
It was on the market for a pre-Covid pandemic price of £315,000 which Pauline thought was a good price for such a nice house.Property two was located in Jeffreyston - just 10 minutes from the stunning coastline.
