Councillor slams vandals after popular nature trail is trashed

East Kilbride councillor has slammed wanton vandalism at a popular nature walk in the town.Now he is asking for the publics' help to catch those responsible.Independent councillor for East Kilbride West, David Watson, has recently been in discussions with South Lanarkshire Land Services over improvements to the paths at Kittochglen between Stewartfield and College Milton, and generally tidying up the area.But vandals have recently wrecked a bridge and Councillor Watson has hit out at anti-social behaviour in the area.He recently slammed disgusting flytipping near Jackton with the local area blighted with an upturn in dumping in recent weeks.He told Lanarkshire Live: "Over the last week vandals have destroyed bridge walk ways, dumped rubbish.
