Council charter aims to see North Lanarkshire used more for films and TV production

Promoting North Lanarkshire as a location for more film and television productions is the aim of a new charter and code of practice produced by the area's council.

In recent years the region has seen filming of the latest Batman movie, The Outlaw King and The Last Bus as well as YV programmes Vigil , Two Doors Down , Shetland and Scot Squad .

Thus far In 2021, filming has taken place in North Lanarkshire secondary schools, tower blocks, parks, business premises and a former court building.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
