Coronavirus infection rates have fallen in all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester and remain below the national average, according to the latest data.
Stockport now has the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester, replacing Trafford. The borough recorded a rate of 315.4 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending February 16.

The infection rate in the region is lower than the national average, which is 456.5 cases per 100,000 people. A total of 7,612 people tested positive for coronavirus across Greater Manchester in the week which ended on February 16.
