Coronation Street's Joel star thought he'd have to quit acting as he details advice from soap rival
manchestereveningnews.co.ukCoronation Street star Calum Lill has told how he thought he was going to have to quit acting before 'falling to his knees' when he discovered he'd landed a role on the ITV soap.
The actor made his debut in the programme last year as solicitor Joel Deering. And his appearance in Weatherfield hasn't been brief as he soon caught the attention of Dee-Dee Bailey.
Joel was soon inviting Dee-Dee out for a drink, explaining that he needed to pick her brain about US law but it was just a ruse as he hoped to land a date with the local lawyer.
At first, Dee-Dee didn't catch on to Joel's romantic interest, however, Joel has since made himself more comfortable on the cobbles having now struck up a relationship with Dee-Dee, played by Channique Sterling-Brown.
