Cops release CCTV images of man wanted after late night attack in Edinburgh

CCTV images have been released of a man who cops are hunting following a serious assault which took place in Edinburgh three months ago.

The attack occurred around 11pm on Monday, July 18 on Brighton Place in the Portobello area of the capital. Police Scotland have launched a probe into the incident, and believe the man pictured may hold information which could assist their ongoing enquiries.

The male is described as white, around 40 years old, around 6ft2” tall with a bald head and thin build.
