COP26 transport chaos avoided as union strikes deal with ScotRail

A deal has finally been agreed to avert train staff striking during the COP26 climate conference next week. The RMT trade union had set out its final negotiating position, calling for a 2.5% pay rise backdated to April and a “Cop26 payment” for all staff.

A one-year deal has now been reached between the union and ScotRail, a source has told the Daily Record.
