Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

Cardi B is still obsessing over Tiger King. Like everyone else holed-up at home with a Netflix account, the "Bodak Yellow" star has lived with the wild seven-part series on the eccentrics whose worlds revolve around big cats and huge feuds.

Last week, Cardi joked about starting a GoFundMe for Joe Exotic (real name Joe Schreibvogel), a one-time candidate for governor and wannabe country star who’s currently incarcerated for his role in an attempted hit on his rival, Carole Baskin.

Over the weekend, Cardi reposted a story on a tiger at Bronx Zoo testing positive for coronavirus and shared her own theory: Baskin done it.
