Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.
Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

Tiger King star Joe Exotic’s foray into fashion is a hit, after racking up sales of more than $20,000 during its initial soft launch.The former zookeeper and star of hit Netflix series, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, who was sentenced to 22 years in jail for plotting to kill animal rights activist Carole Baskin and other wildlife violations, signed a deal with streetwear brand Odaingerous last month to front their new Revenge collection.Joe signed a six-month deal with the company, owner Odain Watson told TMZ, and after launching on Monday, the collection sold out within hours, raking in more than $20,000 in online sales.After the first wave of merchandise was cleaned out, the full collection was restocked and went back up for sale
