Joe Exotic
Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.
Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

Trick-or-treaters can now dress as Joe Exotic — otherwise known as the “Tiger King,” a self-described “gay, gun-carrying redneck with a mullet” — thanks to PETA.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has listed the “Joe Exotic Tiger Killer Costume” on its website for $159.99.

The outfit includes a blond mullet wig, a mustache, jail bars, an orange prison jumpsuit and a plush tiger — and will ship by July 31, well before Halloween.

Joe Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, is serving a 22-year prison sentence for a vengeful murder-for-hire plot to kill animal activist Carole Baskin over a longstanding, vicious feud — which was documented in the popular Netflix series “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.” PETA
