Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion turned up the heat in their “WAP” music video, but health was a top priority before things got steamy on set.The “I Like It” rapper, 27, revealed in an interview with i-D on Thursday, August 13, that it was a requirement for everyone to get tested for COVID-19.“It was kind of weird shooting the video in the age of corona,” she said. “Like, we had to spend $100,000 just on testing.
Everybody on the shoot had to get tested for coronavirus.”Cardi explained that the pandemic also affected how the animals were included in the video. “We had a tiger and a leopard there, but we didn’t film with them in there because of safety and because of the pandemic,” she said.
