STREAMING service BritBox has issued another warning about "outdated" content in the classic French resistance sitcom 'Allo 'Allo!

The saucy sitcom has a warning due to the vast amount of sexual innuendos and stereotypical jokes about French and German characters.

BritBox boss said: “This classic comedy contains language and attitudes of the time that may offend some viewers.” The slapstick show has nine series and 85 episodes.

It starred Gordon Kaye as a womanising French café owner René during the German’s World War Two occupation of France. The show's catchphrases included “I was pis*ing by the door”, “I will say this only once”, “Shut up, you silly old bat” and “Ooh my dicky ticker”.
