‘Bosch’ Renee Ballard Spinoff Casts ‘Designated Survivor’ Star Maggie Q in Lead Role
variety.comSelena Kuznikov Maggie Q is officially set to star in the “Bosch” spinoff centered on cold case detective Renée Ballard. Q will make her first appearance as the character in the Season 3 finale of “Bosch: Legacy,” the first look at which can be seen above and below.
Jet Wilkinson is set to direct the Season 3 finale of “Bosch: Legacy,” along with the first two episodes of the untitled Renee Ballard series for Prime Video.
Q is known for her starring roles as F.B.I Agent Hannah Wells on ABC and Netflix’s drama “Designated Survivor” and the title role of the CW action series “Nikita.” She was most recently seen in the Skydance and Apple TV+ action comedy “The Family Plan” with Mark Wahlberg.
Her other film credits include “The Protégé,” “The Divergent Series,” “Live Free Or Die Hard” and “Mission Impossible III.” She is repped by CAA, Anonymous Content and Vision PR.
