dailyrecord.co.ukbooze-fuelled rage. Brandon Durning, who has 43 offences on his record, launched the unprovoked attack on his relatives after accidentally setting his duvet on fire with a lit cigarette.
The fire service was called to the home in Whitley Bay, near Newcastle, and managed to extinguish the blaze on December 1 last year, Chronicle Live reports.
Instead of apologising Brandon flew into a vicious rage which began with him pouring cider around the property and onto his grandfather.
The vile thug then turned his attention to his grandmother - who was suffering from coronavirus - and sprayed deodorant in her face.
