The Bolton comedian picked up a writing gong at the virtual awards ceremony in May this year. Sophie, 32, was nominated for the pilot episode of her upcoming BBC series Alma's Not Normal.
The episode, which aired on BBC Two in April, was watched by more than one million people and Sophie was soon commissioned to write a full series.
