Sharon Brittan has hailed the extra cash provided by the Premier League which will help League One and Two club such as Bolton Wanderers recover from the coronavirus pandemic and believes it will help the club become more sustainable.
Football finances were hit by the pandemic in light of matches having to be played behind closed doors for nearly all of last season, while the 2019/20 League One and Two seasons did not recommence and were decided on a points per game basis.
