Selfless Glasgow cleaners are offering free laundry for pensioners in a desperate bid to tackle the deadly coronavirus. Harrods Drycleaners, who washed items for the Batman and Avengers movies, are now offering the thoughtful service to anyone over the age of 75.

It comes as the NHS issued a warning over how easily germs can transfer from clothes and how important it is to disinfect them.
