A toddler was diagnosed with a rare condition after his mum spotted that some of his teeth were missing. Georgia Hughes took her three-year-old son Myles Tucker to the doctor after she noticed he had some missing teeth.
She was given the devastating news that her “sweet” little boy had been diagnosed with a rare condition following tests, which affects only 12 children across the world.
Georgia, from Holywell, told North Wales Live how 4H leukodystrophy is a genetic disorder that affects the nervous system, the condition is so rare that Myles is only the third case identified in Wales.
