THE BBC has rejected complaints made about Strictly Come Dancing's first same sex pairing and the "blatant projection of homosexuality".
The BBC said viewer complaints made about former professional Nicola Adams, 38, and professional dancer Katya Jones, 31, have not been upheld.
The Mirror reports the broadcaster has stood by the decision to assign the pair together after they faced backlash. The complaints were made over the alleged 'blatant projection of homosexuality' in the December 19th final according to BBC's Executive Complaints Unit (ECU).
