Kéllé Bryan has admitted to feeling "dumb" after once giving a former partner access to her credit card funds. The Loose Women panellist shared her story on the matter today, Thursday 10 February, as she and her co-hosts discussed Netflix’s new documentary The Tinder Swindler.

The show is focused on a man who used the name Simon Leviev and claimed to be the son of a billionaire. He then developed relationships with women, both romantically and as friends, who have since claimed he defrauded them for thousands of dollars.

The women say they gave him the money after being promised they’d be refunded immediately, but Simon never paid up – and never had any intention to do so.Talking about her own experience, Kéllé revealed: "I was in a relationship with somebody and we were of an equal pegging, so there was no problem in terms of money at the beginning but once that person fell out of their job, I began to support that person financially. "And then just one thing leads to another and before you know it you're knee deep in this kind of entrenched relationship where the person controls you in every aspect of your life." She went on: "In coercive relationships, it’s about being separate from those who can speak any sense to you, so they isolate you from your family, your friends, and then you become pretty much in their control.” When asked if her ex-partner had access to her funds, Kéllé replied: “Well, yeah.

I actually gave them a card to be able to use because I didn’t want them to feel emasculated by having to ask me for money, so I actually did do that.” Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter .
