BBC Breakfast viewers fuming over segment as they all say same sarcastic thing

BBC Breakfast viewers were not impressed with the show's travel segment on Saturday, 16 March. The programme, hosted by Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt, showed an "extraordinary image" of no traffic on the M25 today.

A five-mile stretch of the motorway between Junctions 10 and 11 in Surrey is closed this weekend.The closure started at 9pm yesterday and will last until 6am on Monday.

It's because a bridge is being knocked down and a new gantry is being put up.There's an 11.5-mile diversion route to guide motorway traffic along A roads.

While some people might find the traffic conditions chaotic, many viewers thought the story was being made a bigger deal than it should be.They shared their thoughts on X, the social media platform that used to be called Twitter. "@BBCBreakfast err Motorways close all time," one person wrote. "Get a grip ffs yet again the world doesn't revolve around that London." A second viewer wasn't happy either: "You'd think the world had stopped turning.....the #M25 is having a pedestrian bridge removed.....
