thesun.co.ukBAKE Off fans all had the same complaint about Matt Lucas' comment on last night's show. Tuesday's episode saw the remaining bakers tackle dishes that would be suitable for vegans and people with dietary issues in Free From Week.
As well as a vegan sausage roll technical, they had to make dairy-free ice cream sandwiches and a gluten-free showstopper. However, some viewers were not impressed when host Matt joked that being gluten-free was the "vagaries and fripperies of fashion".
Taking to Twitter, one enraged GBBO viewer wrote: "Gluten free isn't the 'vagaries and fripperies fashion', Coeliacs have no choice and any gluten makes us seriously ill, it can lead to stomach cancer among other things. "It's certainly not for fashion Matt Lucas.".
