A baby murdered in Radcliffe two-and-a-half years ago was likely killed by ‘being projected against a hard surface’, a pathologist has told an inquest today.

Orianna Crilly-Cifrova died in October 2019 when her mum’s partner, Jamie Chadwick, attacked the one-year-old while he was home alone with the child.

Chadwick had been ordered to stay away from children at the time. Today, at the opening of an inquest into Orianna’s tragic passing, a Home Office Pathologist detailed the injuries which killed the 12-month-old.

He also rubbished the tale told by Chadwick - who was sentenced to life in prison in November 2020 - to cops and his own partner, which was that Orianna fell down two steps.
