Ayrshire nurse who suffered a brain haemorrhage whilst driving to work has told how she felt like her whole head was on fire.Laura Adams, 34, from Ayr was on her way to a night shift at Gartnavel Royal in Glasgow when she had to pull over after becoming suddenly unwell.
Hours later she was diagnosed with a brain haemorrhage and a brain aneurysm which she says is like having a “ticking time bomb” in her head.The mental health nurse of seven years said she felt like she had “a rod up the back of her neck” into her skull before her vision blurred and suffered pins and needles in her arms during the terrifying ordeal on March 19.Laura, who studied at Ayr University, was forced to remove her clothes as her body’s temperature rocketed.
