Albert Uderzo, the co-creator of the Asterix comic books, has died at the age of 92.Uderzo, who originally illustrated the stories about a village of Gauls who defy the Roman Empire due to having a potion that gives them super-strength alongside writer Rene Goscinny, passed away on Tuesday.Confirming the artist’s death, his son-in-law Bernard de Choisy told the Agence France Presse news agency: “Albert Uderzo died in his sleep at his home in Neuilly, after a heart attack that was not linked to the coronavirus.
