Asda launches new loophole for shoppers who can't get home delivery slots

We've now been in lockdown for well over a month, and supermarkets are adjusting to the huge changes they've been hit with as a result of the pandemic.

But while stores are now coping with the changes, shoppers are still struggling to find home delivery slots. In a bid to ensure that the most vulnerable and those unable to leave their homes can still get the food they need, Asda has now launched a new essentials box which is packed with...well, essentials.

Each box costs £30, and the price includes delivery. Because the boxes are delivered by DPD, you won't need to book an online delivery slot on the Asda website, meaning you won't have to wait as long for your items to arrive.
