Appeal after axemen rob the same Morrisons store three times

Police have released a CCTV appeal after two men armed with an axe robbed the same Morrisons store three times. The robberies happened at the Morrisons Daily shop on Albert Royds Street in Rochdale between November 13 and 23, police said.

During the first, two men burst into the shop at around 6.40pm and demanded staff empty a till of money. One of the men was wielding an axe. In the second robbery, at around 7.50pm on November 17, a masked, hooded man armed with an axe again demanded money from the till.
