A hospital trust has apologised to a patient for ‘revolting’ conditions on a ward. Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust bosses ‘personally apologised’ to the patient on behalf of the service, after the conditions were revealed in a Manchester Evening News report.
The piece featured ‘shocking’ pictures of ‘overflowing bins’, a ‘blocked toilet’ and sink and both a bathroom and kitchen littered with rubbish.
