And one woman who has experienced this is Angela Scanlon. The Irish broadcaster opened up about the experience, which she now believes was ‘exactly what [she] needed’.
Angela welcomed her first child, Ruby, two years ago but confessed she was completely unprepared for the world of motherhood and that was only made worse when she lost her job.
Speaking to Life magazine, she spoke about the moment she found out that she had lost her ‘biggest job’. ‘It was like a grief, which, I suppose, highlighted my reliance on work for happiness.
