Ange Postecoglou shuts down Tom Rogic fears as Celtic boss pleads 'leave him alone'

Ange Postecoglou has insisted he has no concerns over Tom Rogic and knows the former Celtic star is fine. The midfielder, who left the champions in the summer, sparked headlines back home by pulling out of the Australian squad’s World Cup qualifier with Peru and then refused to take calls from national coach Graham Arnold.

It led to concerns from the Socceroos about Rogic’s well-being although the free agent has since been photographed back in Sydney.

Postecoglou hasn’t been in contact with the 29-year-old since he left Celtic but people around him have assured him there are no issues.

The Celtic manager said: “I think Tom’s fine mate. Has anyone spoken to Tom? No one spoke to him when he was here for 10 years either, that’s Tom! “I’d be more concerned if he was out there talking to people.
