Esquibias told TMZ that ending her conservatorship has been in the works for a long time and emphasized that it was not set in motion because of Britney Spears‘ case. David added that while Britney‘s relationship with her parents has largely been acrimonious, Amanda has maintained a close relationship with both her parents.
