Philippines director Mikhail Red is poised to begin shooting of “Deleter,” a film that straddles the techno-horror and psychological thriller genres.The story involves an online content moderator who deletes a suicide video made by her co-worker. But the otherwise desensitized woman cannot escape from either her own troubled past or from a mysterious vengeful presence.The film is scripted by Red and younger brother Nikolas Red.

The Kid LAROI and Fivio Foreign have released their collaborative single ‘Paris To Tokyo’, just shy of two months after the latter first teased it.On May 10, Foreign posted a TikTok of him and the Australian rapper (whose real name is Charlton Howard) working on the track’s accompanying music video. Though its titled wasn’t explicitly revealed at the time, Foreign hinted at it in the video’s caption, mentioning Paris, Tokyo and London.

Instagram yesterday (July 8), Depp’s new track is a cover of the titular 2003 song by English rock band Killing Joke.The track sees Depp reunite with longtime collaborator and guitarist Jeff Beck, and is expected to be lifted from the pair’s upcoming album, ‘18’. News of the joint album first circulated in 2021, and was officially confirmed for a July 15 release last month.In addition to ‘The Death And Resurrection Show’, the tracklist for ‘18’ will include the duo’s covers of The Beach Boys’ ‘Caroline, No’ and The Velvet Underground’s ‘Venus In Furs’, both of which were released late last month.Depp and Beck’s covers of Marvin Gaye and The Everly Brothers will likewise feature on the album, as well as the Depp original, ‘This Is A Song For Miss Hedy Lamarr’.

aespa have released a powerful music video for their new single, ‘Girls’.The music video opens with a shot of a digital city, before it delves deeper into the girl group’s SM Universe lore, with an appearance from the AI character Naevis. Elsewhere in the clip, aespa perform the song’s fierce choreography in futuristic rooms, while also making references to their older title tracks.“Scream (Get loud), listen (My sound) / Call it (Upgrade), we coming / Blooming in chaos (We Them Girls), and confronting fear, that courage / Whenever we are together, we them girls, we them girls,” aespa sing on the chorus.‘Girls’ is the title track of aespa’s new mini-album of the same name, which was also released today (July 8).

Most of the major networks, including public broadcast giant NHK, and the private sector NTV, TBS and Fuji and TV Asahi channels, have ditched their schedules to cover the shooting.

NBC, The Washington Post and other media outlets reported today that Japan’s former prime minister, Shinzo Abe, was shot while giving a speech in western Japan near Kyoto. Both outlets cited the nation’s Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno, who said the former PM was shot around 11:30 a.m. local time.

Ellise Shafer Shinzo Abe, a former prime minister of Japan, was apparently shot during a campaign speech on Friday in Nara, according to the Associated Press and NHK public television.NHK camera footage showed him collapsed on the street, holding his chest, with the broadcasting corporation reporting that he is experiencing heart failure. Abe was rushed to the hospital following the incident and a male suspect has been arrested at the scene on the suspicion of attempted murder, according to NHK.

ENHYPEN have announced dates for an upcoming world tour, including dates in the United States and Japan.According to an announcement made by their agency BELIFT LAB, ENHYPEN’s tour will begin in September, with two dates in Seoul on September 17 and 18.The tour will then take the group to North America in October, where they are currently expected to perform in six cities including Houston, Atlanta, Chicago and New York.
