Alton Towers has revealed the name for its new-look Nemesis ride ahead of its return this spring. The iconic Nemesis rollercoaster shut down in November 2022 for a revamp, with the entire 250-tonne, 716-metre-long track being replaced in what is the 'biggest overhaul in its 30-year history'.
But bosses at the theme park are now teasing the return of the ride and have shared a striking image of it, along with its new name - Nemesis Reborn.
The image and animation show a single, giant blazing red eye, ringed by razor-sharp teeth sitting at the centre of the creature’s head.
Tentacles snake from its body, studded with the same, vicious teeth, while huge, powerful claws extend from its muscular midsection as it propels itself on nimble, black legs.
